Fr George Condookala originally from Kerala in southern India; where he was in charge of 23,000 Catholics from 180 villages and was a school principal with 2,500 students and 180 borders and a orphange that cared for 140 children.

Fr George also has 6 university degrees,he has worked in ecumenical movements like the Shoalhaven Awakening in Campbelltown, NSW as well as India. He has served in the parishes of St John's Campbelltown and St Michael's Nowra. On Saturday 17th December 2011, Bishop Peter Ingham appointed Fr George Condookala to Lumen Christi Catholic Parishes Wollongong.
