An Encounter That Changes Everything

The disciples walked with Jesus, listened to His words and shared the journey with Him. Yet it was not until He took the bread, blessed it and broke it that they truly recognised the Risen Lord.

The same invitation is offered to us today.

Whenever we gather for the Eucharist, Christ is present among His people. He speaks to us through the Scriptures, nourishes us with His Body and Blood, and opens our hearts to recognise Him more deeply.

As we prepare for the International Eucharistic Congress, may our own eyes be opened to the beauty of the Eucharist, so that every Mass becomes a renewed encounter with the living Christ.

Pilgrim's Prayer

Lord Jesus, walk beside me each day. Open my eyes to recognise You in the Eucharist, deepen my faith in Your presence, and help me to share the joy of knowing You with others. Amen.
